Opal E. Trail

Opal E. Trail, 75, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at her residence. Opal was born in Brush Creek Township, Fulton County, PA on September 27, 1939, the daughter of the late Edith M. (Smith) and James L. Garland.  She was the wife of Milford H. "Buzz" Trail whom she married on June 11, 1960. Mrs. Trail was a member of the Buck Valley Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA, was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, nurturing animals and spending time with family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by Daughters Anita M. McKee of Dover, PA, Carolyn M. (wife of Randy) Wills of Warfordsburg, PA, Sons William M. Trail of York, PA, Raymond Glenn Trail of State Line, PA, Sisters Mary Garland of Needmore, PA, Geraldine Clevenger of Newark, NY, Brother James E. Garland of Warfordsburg, PA, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sister Edna Ritz, brothers Mulford and Lester Garland. Religious Service at Buck Valley Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014  with Pastor Scott Gibbs officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 21st, 2014 from 2 to 8 PM. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. Interment at Jerusalem Christian Cemetery, Warfordsburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, Inc., 2325 Country Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
