Nancy R. Mcginnes

Nancy R. McGinnes, 77, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Monday, February 1st, 2016 at her residence. Nancy was born in Carlisle, PA on September 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Loretta Mae (Spade) and Thomas Leslie Robinson.  She was formerly married to the late Leon McGinnes. Mrs. McGinnes was in the first class that graduated from Big Spring High School, was of the Protestant faith, was a homemaker for many years, was secretary and dispatcher for Raystown Ambulance, was the Education Coordinator for Southern Alleghenies EMS, was a drivers license examiner for the Florida Department of Transportation, was office manager for Dr. Baer's office in Everett, PA and retired in 2004 from the PA Turnpike where she was a toll collector.  Nancy enjoyed reading, gardening, feeding and watching birds and also spending time with her family. She is survived by daughters Leslie (wife of Doyle) Bryant of Chambersburg, PA, Betsy (wife of Vito) DeGregorio of Shippensburg, PA, Wendy (wife of John) Marquette of Deltona, FL, Sally (spouse Jill) McGinnes of Warfordsburg, PA, son Douglas McGinnes of Everett, PA, brother Thomas L. (husband of Connie)  Robinson of Casselberry, FL, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.  Preceded in death by sister Doris Widra of Walnut Bottom, PA. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 5th, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM at Celebrations Unlimited, 27994 Great Cove Road, Ft. Littleton, PA 17223. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
