Nancy F. Chamberlain, 80, of Pine Grove, PA, (formerly of Wells Tannery) passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Pine Grove, PA. 

Nancy was born on August 7, 1945, in McConnellsburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Helen (Fix) Layton. She was the widow of Dan R. Chamberlain, whom she married on June 29, 1969. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2018. 

Nancy enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and putting puzzles together with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

She is survived by her children, Troy D. Chamberlain, of Cressona, PA, and Kathy J. "Kate" (wife of Travis) Buterbaugh, of Bridgeport, PA. She is also survived by her grandsons, Casey and Nathan Chamberlain and Kyle Buterbaugh, as well as her loving dog, Ginger. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Layton and a sister, Doris Souders.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, with Pastor Michelle Price officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
