Nancy A. Barber

Nancy A. Barber, 90, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at Bedford Post Acute, Bedford, PA.

Nancy was born on January 15, 1935, in McConnellsburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late John T. and Virgie (Keefer) Humbert. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Barber, who she married in September of 1953. He preceded her in death in 2004.

Nancy was a farmer's wife, a mother, a grandmother and homemaker. She loved her family and her cat "Charlie".

She is survived by daughter Lora J. Barber (wife of Rick Wawro), of Warfordsburg, PA and their children; Brianne and Shaelyn Wawro, daughter Mary E. (wife of Steve) Michael, of Berkeley Springs, WV, daughter Atha J. (wife of Daniel) Golden, of Winchester, VA and daughter Janet (wife of John) Long, of Hagerstown, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren; Billie Rohm, Jamie Wentz, Kacie Hensley, and Jen and John Ebersole. She was preceded in death by her brother George Humbert and sister Mary Jane Lear.

Services will be private.
