N. Parker Knepper, 79, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Monday, April 4th, 2016 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Parker was born in Chambersburg, PA on March 28, 1937, the son of the late Esther V. (Kerlin) and Norman W. Knepper. He was the husband of Patricia M. (Brown) Knepper whom he married on July 8, 1961.
Mr. Knepper served in the National Guard for six years, was a member of the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, served on the Central Fulton School Board for thirty-nine years, member of the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit #11 board, the Fulton County Fair Board, was a 4-H leader for over twenty years and retired from the Fulton County National Bank in McConnellsburg, PA in 1999.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Craig A. (husband of Jen) Knepper of McConnellsburg, PA, Kirby S. Knepper of McConnellsburg, PA, grandson Reuben Knepper, who was Parker's pride and joy, of McConnellsburg, PA, step-grandchildren Taylor and Michaela Rosenberry of Fannettsburg, PA. Preceded in death by son Kevin E. Knepper.
Religious Service at McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 8th, 2016 with Pastor Robin Baer officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 7th, 2016 from 2 to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Friday at the church.
Interment at Center United Methodist Cemetery in Three Springs, PA will be private.
