Mildred M. Guyer

Mildred M. "Sis" Guyer, 81, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8th, at her residence in McConnellsburg, PA.

Mildred was born in McConnellsburg, PA on September 21, 1939, a daughter of the late Lottie M. (Bradnick) and John  C. Seville.  She was the widow of Elton "Junior" Guyer, whom she married on August 27, 1962.  He preceded her in death on March 9, 2013.

Mildred was a homemaker, enjoying taking care of her family.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going mushroom hunting, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons Victor L. (husband of Tina) Guyer, of McConnellsburg, PA, Calvin L. Guyer, of McConnellsburg, PA,  Elton E. (husband of Karen) Guyer, of McConnellsburg, PA, John L. (husband of Teresa) Guyer, of Hustontown, PA,  William A Guyer, of Lewes, DE, Brothers Edgar M. Seville, of Chambersburg, PA,  David A. Seville, of McConnellsburg, PA and Alvin A. (husband of Mary) Seville, of Greencastle, PA.  Mildred is also survived by twenty grandchildren and forty-four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by an infant son  Stephen R. Guyer, sisters Beulah Lillian Carbaugh, Betty Louise Seville, Ima Jean Seville, Nellie May Seville, Doris McClure Seville, Shirley Wilmoth Seville, brothers Carl Calvin Seville, Raymond Leroy Seville, Ronald Eugene Seville, Allen Junior Seville, Richard Garlock Seville, Kenneth Harry Seville and five infant siblings.

Graveside Services will be held at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating.  If attending, it's encouraged to bring a lawn chair and follow the CDC Guidelines for COVID-19.
