Mary C. (Strait) Kell

Mary C. Kell, 77, devoted wife of the late Ralph B. Kell, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Saturday, July 21st, 2012 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Mary was born in Harrisonville, PA on November 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Alvin S. and Addie M. (Pepper) Strait.  She was the widow of Ralph B. Kell whom she married on October 16, 1957 and he passed away on November 16, 2010. Mrs. Kell worked at Johnnies Diner, McConnellsburg, PA in her earlier years, then for Dr. Riggs as a dental assistant and she retired from Fulton Builders in McConnellsburg, PA.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church of McConnellsburg, McConnellsburg, PA, the Eastern Star of McConnellsburg, PA and she also loved NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. She is survived by God Son Keith Barclay of Yardley, PA, Sister Louise Mannetti of McConnellsburg, PA, numerous nieces, nephews, great great nieces and nephews and her favorite dog "Abby".  She was preceded in death by one sister,Alice Myers and four brothers, Grover,Arthur, Arlie, and Bobby Strait  and one great nephew. Mary dedicated her life to providing happiness and support to others, family and friends alike.  She will be remembered always for her warm smile and her unconditional caring and friendship provided to all.  Mary made a positive impact  and added value and meaning to all of the lives she touched.  She was "Aunt Mary" to family and friends. Memorial Service at McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, McConnellsburg, PA, at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 18th, 2012  with Pastor John Godissart and Pastor William Bair officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family. There will be visitation one hour before the service on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, 2nd floor, Princeton, NJ. 08540. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
