Mary H. Sipes

Mary H. Sipes, 95, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, March 30th, 2022 at Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care, McConnellsburg, PA. Mary was born in Knobsville, PA on February 22, 1927, the daughter of the late Josephine (Gordon) and Rush  Wagoner.  She was the widow of Frank D. Sipes whom she married on November 16, 1946 and he passed away on July 4, 1995. Mrs. Sipes was a retired seamstress who worked at various sewing factories throughout the area.  Mary faithfully attended worship services at the Fulton County Medical Center and in her younger years, she enjoyed gardening and taking care of her animals. She is survived by son Kevin L.  Sipes, of McConnellsburg, PA, daughters Marian B. Watkins, of Chambersburg, PA, Karen A. Sipes, of Williamsport, MD, Betty M. (wife of Henry, Jr.) Daniels, of McConnellsburg, PA, ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.  Mary was preceded in death by daughters Francis and Bertha and an infant sister. A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 4th, 2022  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
