Mary A. Mellott

Mary A. Mellott, 84, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center Extended Care Unit, McConnellsburg, PA and formerly of Harrisonville, PA passed away Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Mary was born in Needmore, PA on August 30, 1926, the daughter of the late George and Icy (Hoile) Manning.  She was the widow of Rankin  Mellott who passed away on November 17, 1997. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie# 4274 in Harrisonville, PA and had worked at the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA as an assembler Mrs. Mellott is survived by Son Russell Mellott of Harrisonville, PA, Sisters Catherine Beatty of Buck Valley, PA, Beulah Fearnow of West Virginia, Velma Vibbert of Kentucky, Barbara Hewett of West Virginia, Brothers George Manning of Hancock, MD, Winston Manning of West Virginia, Grandchildren Gretchen Mellott of Mercersburg, PA, Chris Mellott of Glendale, AZ, Curt Mellott of Harrisonville, PA, Kimberly Penrod of Crystal Springs, PA and nine great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by Sisters Virginia Beatty and Violet Tritapoe. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., Harrisonville, PA, at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, February 28th, 2011  with Pastor William Swope officiating. Interment at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Needmore, PA. There will be visitation on Monday, February 28th, 2011 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., Harrisonville, PA.
