Martha J. Lynch, 90, of Needmore, PA, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026 at the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, McConnellsburg, PA.

Martha was born on April 21, 1936, in Harrisonville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Clem C. and Dorothy M. (Souders) Schooley. She was the widow of Hayes Lynch, who she married on April 20, 1956. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2008.

She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren, Needmore, PA. She cherished spending time with her family and her dog, Riley. Of all the joys in her life, nothing made her smile more than seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Martha is survived by her children, Dodie (wife of Charles) Etter, of Elizabethtown, PA; Stephen (husband of Lucinda) Lynch, of Needmore, PA; and Jeffrey (husband of Alice) Lynch, of Needmore, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Stephen Lynch, Misty Johnson, Nathan Etter, Eric Lynch and Jessica Fletcher and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers and nine sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren, Needmore PA, with Pastor Mac Miller officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be at the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
