Martha V. Knepper

Martha V. Knepper, 93, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Monday, June 25th, 2018 at Menno Haven Nursing Home, Chambersburg, PA

Martha was born in Six Mile Run, PA on December 24, 1924, the daughter of the late Gerdie (Reed) and Harry  Fisher.  She was the widow of Dalbert W. Knepper whom she married on August 21, 1943 and he passed away on August 27, 2014.

Mrs. Knepper was a member of Dublin Mills Community Church in Hustontown, PA, worked at the Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA for nine years, the Family House Restaurant in Breezewood, PA and the Fort Family Restaurant in Ft. Littleton, PA.  Martha enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her hobby was crocheting.

She is survived by  daughter Connie L. (wife of Terry) Eisaman, of Fayetteville, PA, brother Richard F. (husband of Alice) Fisher, of Robertsdale, PA, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by son Arthur "Butch" Knepper, granddaughter Tracey Appleby, sister Doris Ford and brother Wilmer John Fisher.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 28th, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Friday at the church.

Religious Service at Dublin Mills Community Church, Hustontown, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 29th, 2018  with Pastor Jay Lobach officiating.

Interment at Center United Methodist Cemetery, Waterfall, PA.
