Marion "Lynn" Mellott

Marion "Lynn" Mellott, 65, of Mercersburg, PA passed away Thursday, February 9th, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Mellott was born in McConnellsburg, PA on June 1, 1951, the son of Elda (Coffman) Mellott of Mercersburg, PA and the late Kermit Mellott. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren in Needmore, PA, was a sales/delivery person for Napa in Hancock, MD and was an assembler at JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA Mr. Mellott is survived by sons Robert Mellott of Waynesboro, PA, Timothy Mellott of Chesapeake, VA, daughter Marissa Mellott of Hancock, MD, sister Carolyn White of Mercersburg, PA, brother Gene Mellott of Big Cove Tannery, PA and five grandchildren.  Preceded in death by former wife Janet Elaine Mellott. Graveside Service at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Needmore, PA at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 with Pastor Mac Miller officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 11th, 2017 from 1 to 2 PM at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren, Needmore, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
