Marian A. (Souders) Carbaugh

Marian A. "Skip" Carbaugh, 82, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at Penn Knoll Village, Everett, PA. Marian was born in Webster Mills, PA on February 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Bessie E. (Evertts) Souders.  She was the wife of Preston R. Carbaugh whom she married on December 4, 1946. Mrs. Carbaugh was a member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, McConnellsburg, PA and also was a  seamstress and a homemaker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by Son Preston E. (husband of Joyce) Carbaugh of McConnellsburg, PA, Daughter Gayle E. (wife of Pete) Knepper of Chambersburg, PA, Son Marvin L. (husband of Kylara) Carbaugh of Fayetteville, PA, Daughter Carole L. (wife of Earl) Edwards of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Son Mark E. (husband of Debra) Carbaugh of McConnellsburg, PA, Sister Helen Sheeder of McConnellsburg, PA, Brothers Paul Souders of McConnellsburg, PA, Roger "Byrd" Souders of McConnellsburg, PA, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two great great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by brother Robert Souders, sister Betty Keebaugh, one infant sister and grandson Michael Carbaugh. Religious Service at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, McConnellsburg, PA, at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, May 7th, 2012  with Pastor John Hodge officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Monday, May 7th, 2012 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 140 McGoverns Lane, McConnellsburg, PA  17233. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
