Marian L. Hunter

Marian L. Hunter, 90, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 at Pinnacle Health Hospital, Harrisburg, PA. Marian was born in McConnellsburg, PA on March 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Beatrice (Divens) and Scott  Sipes. Mrs. Hunter was of  the Protestant faith, loved singing, playing bingo and spending time with family. She is survived by  daughter  Lindell Ramsey of McConnellsburg, PA, brother Wayne (husband of Wilma) Sipes of Chambersburg, PA, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.  Preceded in death by daughter Patricia Hunter, son Dennis Mellott, sisters Dorothy Henry, Betsy Lake, brothers Harold "Dope" Sipes, Daryl Sipes and Bruce Sipes. Visitation will be Sunday, February 18th, 2018 from 1 to 2 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 18th, 2018  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
