M. Gayle Harris

M. Gayle Harris, 81, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Friday, October 22nd, 2021 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Gayle was born in Taylor Township, PA on March 12, 1940, the daughter of the late Iva May (Strait) and Clarence Eugene Barnett. She was a member of the Ft. Littleton Bible Church and retired in 2002 from JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA.  Gayle enjoyed going on bus trips and visiting with family and friends.  She also found alot of joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gayle is survived by daughters Sherry (wife of Ed) Heinbaugh, of Harrisonville, PA, Brenda (wife of Steve) Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Tracey Harris, of McConnellsburg, PA, son Bill (husband of Jenny) Harris, of McConnellsburg, PA, brothers Clarence Barnett, of Waterfall, PA, Karl Barnett, of Hustontown, PA, Gary Barnett, of Three Springs, PA, grandchildren Freddie, Max, Tyler, Dylan, Kyle, Hunter, Cortney, Chelsea, Christian, Brittany, Nick, Brandon and fifteen great grandchildren.  Gayle was preceded in death by sisters Patricia Mellott, Madeline Ulsh, Genevieve Cutchall, brothers Glenn, Jerry, Clair and Harty Barnett and great granddaughter Sophie Heinbaugh. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 4:00 PM on Monday, October 25th, 2021  with Pastor Deb Strait officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Monday at the funeral home.   The family requests that those attending wear a mask and follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
