Lucille B. Truax

Lucille B. Truax, 76, of Needmore, PA, passed away Monday, May 29th, at her residence.

Lucille was born in Harrisonville, PA on April 13, 1947, a daughter of the late Rose E. (Clark) and Ivan L. Truax.

Lucille worked at various restaurants throughout the area before retiring from JLG, McConnellsburg, PA.  She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4274 in Harrisonville, Pa.  Lucille enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, spending time with her family and she loved her dogs "Mr. Gibbs and Whiskey".

She is survived by her daughters Lisa (wife of Mark) Knepper, of Hustontown, PA, Stacy (wife of Todd) Green, of Needmore, PA, son Brian (husband of Billie) Henry, of Three Springs, PA and sister L. Diane (wife of Richard) Snook, of Hustontown, PA.  Lucille is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Dennis (husband of Joni) Knepper, of McConnellsburg, PA, Allen (husband of Jennifer) Knepper of Hustontown, PA, Kayla (wife of of Eric) Cromer of Hustontown, PA, Phillip (husband of Destiny) Knepper of Hustontown, PA, Tyler (husband of Allison) Green of Artemas, PA, Cheyenne Henry of Three Springs, PA, McKenzie Henry of Three Springs, PA and thirteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by brothers Donald R. Truax, Roger E. Truax and great grandson Jaxon Henry.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2023  with Rodney Truax officiating. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery Needmore, PA.
