Lowell Lee Mellott

Lowell Lee Mellott, 56, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Lowell was born in Bedford, PA on September 30, 1956, the son of the late Ralph H. and Vada M. (Davis) Mellott.  He was the husband of D. Marie  (Mellott) Mellott whom he married on September 8, 1979. He attended the Sideling Hill Christian Church in Needmore, PA, was an owner/operator truck driver and he also loved farming. In addition to his wife, he is survived by Son Jason C. Mellott of Harrisonville, PA, Sisters Barb Bakner of Needmore, PA, Brenda Diel of Dothan, AL, Brother Stanley E. Mellott of Needmore, PA and four grandchildren.  Preceded in death by son Justin L. Mellott, Sister Charlene Davis and Brother Charles Mellott. Religious Service at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 27th,  2013 with Pastor William Swope officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family. There will be visitation on Tuesday, February 26th, 2013 from 2 to 8 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sideling Hill Christian Church Building Fund, in care of Betty Ramsey, 2153 Camp Ridge Road, Harrisonville, PA  17228.
