Lonnie D. Henry

Lonnie D. Henry, 58, of Hustontown, PA, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025.

Born December 1, 1966, in McConnellsburg, PA, he was the son of Greg and Erma (Peck) Henry.

He was a 1986 graduate of Forbes Road High School.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Erma. He is survived by his father; Greg, a brother; Michael (husband of Wendy) Henry and sister; Jamie.

Lonnie is survived at home by his loving wife of twenty-five years, Christie Henry. He is also survived by five children; Cortnee (wife of Tai) Fix, of Waterfall, PA, Jared (husband of Erin) Henry, of Pine Grove, PA, Samantha (wife of Kaleb) Skiles, of Crystal Springs, PA, Zachary Henry, of Hustontown, PA and Owen Henry, of Hustontown, PA.

He will be sadly missed by his four grandchildren; Emma, Aspen, and Shay Fix and Harper Henry.

Lonnie was a Journeyman Lineman for forty years. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 126, where he forged lifelong bonds with countless brothers. Upon his passing it was said, "You'll never find a heart bigger than his for the men that worked under him."

From a young age, Lonnie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to farm and show livestock, and he shared those passions with his family. He was generous and always willing to help others. Lonnie was a devoted father, and proud of his family. And whether it be in the woods with family, or in the right-of-way with his lineman brothers, there are so many adventurous stories that now only remain for others to remember.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hustontown Firehall, 426 N. Clear Ridge Road, Hustontown, PA 17229, at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, September 28, 2025 with Pastor Becky Cutchall officiating. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
