Lois “Geri” G.
Weideman
Jun 17, 1956 — Aug 10, 2026
Hatboro, PA
Lois "Geri" Weideman passed away suddenly on August 10, 2026.
Geri was born to Anne and Stewart Weideman. She and her sister, Carol, grew up with their parents in a small town in Bucks County PA.
Geri enjoyed summers at a beach house in New Jersey with her Nana Weideman and a large extended family. Geri played many sports, softball was her favorite and she excelled and continued playing as an adult. In high school, she played clarinet and bassoon as part of the marching band. After high school, Geri graduated from nursing school with a RN. She held numerous positions throughout her career in the medical field.
After graduating from nursing school, Geri and Carol took a cross-country adventure for 3 weeks seeing many magnificent sites as they traveled. Their father was not nearly as enthusiastic about this trip as they were.
Geri suffered many losses in her early life, including the very early passings of her mother as she started high school and her father a number of years later. These losses, in part, enhanced her compassion and influenced her career choices.
Geri secured her MBA from Temple University to further her medical career and increase her contributions to her community. She was active in Hatboro community as the Chair of the Zoning Hearing Board.
Geri and her partner, LuAnn Kline of 40 years, resided in Hatboro, PA. They were avid golfers and took multiple trips/adventures towards Geri 's goal of playing all the courses in PA. Geri also had a passion for gardening and enjoyed the bounty of her labor.
After retiring she continued golfing and joined a ladies league. She continued to do volunteer work in her local community.
She will be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her kindness and supportive ways.
A private graveside service will be held for the family. Interment will be at Asbury Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.
To honor Geri's generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others, the family invites friends and loved ones to make a donation to The American Heart Association or a charity of your choice in her memory. Your gift will continue the work Geri cared so deeply about.
Arrangements were made by the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. Online condolences may be expressed at www.howardlsipes.com.
