Lloyd N. Russell, Sr.

Lloyd N. Russell, Sr., 72, of Needmore, PA, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Lloyd was born in Sodus, NY on May 23, 1944, a son of the late Martha E. (DeGalloway) and Floyd L. Russell, Sr.  He was the husband of Judy S. (True) Russell, whom he married on January 30, 1971. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Warfordsburg, PA.  Lloyd served in the United States Army.  He retired from JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Beth Y. (wife of Jeffery) McCarty of Hancock, MD, Tammy L. (wife of Timothy) Hull of Warfordsburg, PA, Becky A. (wife of Craig) Shaw of Needmore, PA, Lloyd N. Russell, Jr. of East Moline, IL, Glenn S. (husband of Tina) of Hancock, MD, Jerry L. Russell of Needmore, PA, Justin W. (husband of Samantha) Russell of Needmore, PA, Stephanie K. Russell (fiancee of Daniel Smith) of Hancock, MD, and Alfred C. Sebring of Sodus Center, NY.  He is also survived by a brother Floyd L. Russell, Jr. of Newark, NY, sisters Lillian E. Russell of Newark, NY, Jeannie A. (wife of Mark) Reynolds of Sodus, NY, Shirley Russell (wife of Rameao) Ortiz of Puerto Rico, seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a great grandson Bruce Lee McCarty Religious Services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 3, 2016  with Pastor Delmas Bard officiating. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 2 PM till 8 PM. at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be one hour of visitation before the service on Friday at the funeral home.
