Lillie Viola Cook

Lillie Viola Cook, 92, of Hustontown, PA passed away Saturday, November 30th, 2019 at her residence.

Lillie was born in Burnt Cabins, PA on April 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Sarah (Shore) and Bruce Martin Cutchall.  She was the widow of Gail Gilbert Cook whom she married on October 14,1946 and he passed away on October 7, 2013.

In her earlier years, she attended the Three Springs Assembly of God Church, the Lighthouse Church in Hustontown, PA and later on she attended the Hustontown Church of God.  Lillie enjoyed going to the Senior Center in Hustontown, PA, singing at church, open mic at the Hustontown Fire Hall, attending ice cream festivals, arranging flowers, canning, cooking for her family, sewing and she really loved her hats.  She also loved all animals, especially her cats, feeding the birds, spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and just really loved being a mother and a grandmother.

Lillie is survived by son Gary E. (husband of Debora J.) Cook, of Three Springs, PA, daughter Debra K. Cook Nye, of Mechanicsburg, PA, sisters Alma Cutchall Lininger, of Hustontown, PA, Dorothy Cutchall Clever, of Mercersburg, PA, sister-in-law Genevieve (Sis) Cutchall, of Danville, PA, grandchildren Jeremy J. (fiance Melissa Poleto) Cook, of Three Springs, PA, Justin G. (husband of Katie) Treher, of New Cumberland, PA, great grandchildren Scarlett, Wolfgang and Atticus Treher, dear friend and caregiver Faye Johnston.  Lillie was preceded in death by son Harold Lee Cutchall, sister Verna Cutchall Appleby, brothers Victor and John D. Cutchall.

Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019  with Pastor Ruth Joudry officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Interment at Center United Methodist Cemetery, Waterfall, PA.
