Leldon C. Rutherford

Leldon C. "Cliff Possom" Rutherford, 62, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Saturday, October 16th, 2010 at his residence. Leldon was born in Ensley, AL on September 18, 1948, the son of the late Richard C. and Jonnie (Bean) Rutherford He was of the Protestant faith, a carnival worker, a truck driver, worked at the Mercersburg Tannery, worked on the dock at Roadway in Hagerstown, MD and also was a logger. Mr. Rutherford is survived by Daughter Lorna L. Rutherford of Warfordsburg, PA, Brothers Arthur Glaze, Jr., Austin Gene Glaze, Ronald Glaze and Leon "Clyde" Rutherford all of Birmingham, AL, Nieces Mary Rivera, Barb Hoover, Nephews Emory Diehl and Marshall Diehl.  Preceded in death by sister Kay Atkinson and brother William Glaze. Religious Service at Whips Cove Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA, at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 with Pastor Delmas Bard officiating. Interment at Whips Cove Christian Cemetery, Warfordsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Wednesday 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Whips Cove Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA.
