Lauren N. (Mccarty) Mccarty

Lauren N. McCarty, 21, of Needmore, PA, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, as a result of an automobile accident in Washington County, MD. Lauren was born in Hagerstown, MD on February 21, 1994, a daughter of Diane M.  McCarty, of Warfordsburg and the late Daniel A. Lambert. She worked as a Bartender at the Mountain House Bar & Grill in McConnellsburg, PA..  She attended Southern Fulton High School.  Lauren enjoyed the Spring and Fall Cruise In held in Ocean City, Md, going to Raystown Lake in the summer and being a mom. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiance, Dusty R. Sowers of Needmore, PA and their  two sons Colton D. and Waylon R. Sowers, both of Needmore, PA.  She is also survived by her brother Levi M. Dixon of Warfordsburg, PA and her sister Brittany L. Lanehart-Nunemaker of Warfordsburg, PA.   She was preceded in death by her grandmother Nancy McCarty. Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2015  with Pastor Laura Kyler officiating. There will be a visitation held on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 4 PM to 8 PM. at the  Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., 873 Lincoln Way East McConnellsburg, PA  17233.  There will also be one hour of visitation held before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
