Larry K. Morton

Larry K. Morton, 67, of Needmore, PA, died Monday, November 11th, 2013 at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Larry was born in Chambersburg, Pa on October 19, 1946, the son of the late Kenneth and Eunice (Hochlander) Morton. He was a retired truck driver and was also active in the daily operations of LC Trucking Company In Needmore, PA. Larry enjoyed trucks and racing.  In his younger years, he had served in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his loving companion of 24 years, Cynthia D. Shoemaker, of Needmore, PA, son L. Allen  Morton of Needmore, PA, son Thomas K. Morton of Needmore, PA, daughter Luraine McCusker of Little Orleans, MD, step son Chris L. Shoemaker of Needmore, PA, sister Patsy Martz of Cottonwood, AZ, sister Maureen Crouse of Spring Grove, PA and brother Donald Morton of Needmore, PA.  He is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 15th,  with Rev. William Swope officiating. There will be a visitation held one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
