Kathleen B. (Morris) Hendershott

Kathleen B. Hendershott, 37, of Big Cove Tannery, PA passed away Thursday, October 1st, 2015 at Meritus Hospital, Hagerstown, MD. Kathleen was born in McConnellsburg, PA on September 10, 1978, the daughter of Anita J. (Moats) and Lester T. Morris of Hancock, MD.  She was the wife of John W. Hendershott whom she married on February 14, 1999. Mrs. Hendershott was a 1996 graduate of Hancock High School, was a member of the Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren in Hancock, MD and also attended the Rehobeth New Life Church in Needmore, PA. She was a homemaker who was very creative and enjoyed scrap booking and crocheting.  Kathleen also enjoyed spending time with family. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by Daughters Grace E. Hendershott, Kellie J. Hendershott, Son A. Jacob Hendershott all of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Brother Andrew S. Morris of Hancock, MD and Maternal Grandfather Fred Moats of Hancock, MD.  Preceded in death by older brother Michael Morris, maternal grandmother Maxine Moats, paternal grandparents Ernest and Elizabeth Morris. Religious Service at Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren, Hancock, MD at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 5th, 2015  with Pastor Lowell Bard and Pastor Harry Strite officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 2 to 8 PM with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Monday at the church. Interment at Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Hancock, MD. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
