Karen M. Mcfadden

Karen M. McFadden, 50, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Hagerstown, MD.

Karen was born in McConnellsburg, PA on December 31, 1974, a daughter of the late Chalmer C. and Mary L. (Harr) Hann. She was the wife of Tracy L. McFadden, who she married on October 13, 2017.

Karen was a 1993 graduate of Southern Fulton High School. She was a CDBG Administrator/Fair Housing Officer Community Development Coordinator/ Director of Elections and Voter Registration for Fulton County before retiring. She was a lifetime member of the Hustontown, McConnellsburg and Needmore Volunteer Fire Companies. She was an EMT for Needmore Volunteer Fire Company for several years. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, watching NASCAR and spoiling her nieces and nephews who she loved greatly.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her siblings; Donna Carbaugh, of Needmore, PA, Linda Lynch, of McConnellsburg, PA and Michael (husband of Donna) Hann, of Needmore, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Aunt Carrie Harr.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM following the visitation with Rev. Joshua Shadle officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family requests the omission of flowers and to consider making a contribution in memory of Karen to the Hustontown, McConnellsburg or Needmore Volunteer Fire Companies.
