Junia C.B. Hann

Junia C. B. Hann escaped the bonds of Earth and entered the gates of Heaven on April 23rd, 2021.   She was born June 13th, 1925, the youngest daughter of Ross and Zillah Garland of Whips Cove who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Amaranth Church of the Brethren where she taught Sunday School for fifty-nine years, served as Sunday School Treasurer and was also one of the Ladie's Willing Workers. Mrs. Hann is survived by two sons, Hervey Hann and wife Sandy and D. Leon Hann and wife Sabrina, all of Warfordsburg, PA, daughter-in-law Peris Hann of Laytonsville, MD, son-in-law Roy Morse and grandson Terry Morse and wife Ava of Warfordsburg, PA, and grandsons David and Caleb Hann of Monrovia, MD. She is also survived by great grandson Travis Morse and wife Courtney and great great grandsons Isaac and Owen Morse.  Junia was fortunate to have three step-granddaughters who were raised nearby, Hope, Tiffany and Clarissa. She also had two step granddaughters Alyssa and Heather. Justin, Terry and Lija were her step-grandsons. There are three step-great granddaughters, nine step-great grandsons and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, David R. Hann with whom she celebrated forty-eight years of marriage and Russell C. Hann, her second husband of ten years. Junia was also preceded in death by her daughter Janice Morse, a son R. Eugene Hann and a granddaughter Andrea Morse. Her three older sisters Eunice Hann, Ina Bard and Viola Smith also predeceased her. Visitation will be Monday, April 26th, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amaranth Church of the Brethren, Warfordsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Tuesday at the church.  Please follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 restrictions. Religious service will be Tuesday, April 27th, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Amaranth Church of the Brethren, Warfordsburg, PA with Pastor Freeman Snair, Pastors Frank and Alieen Teeter and Pastor Roger Truax officiating.
