Joseph L. Smith, 75, of Berkeley Springs, WV, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026 in Berkeley Springs, WV.

Joe was born on August 10, 1951 in Berkeley Springs, WV, the son of the late John A. and Mary E.R. (Norris) Smith.

Joe attended the Johnstown Vo-Tech after high school, where he learned how to cook, bake, and tailor.

Joe is survived by his siblings, Andrew "Andy" Smith, McKinley Smith, Charlotte Wink, and Elizabeth Bowers. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Nancy Smith, brother-in-law, Louis Mills, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Mills and his uncle, Charlie Smith.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
