Joseph P. Merica

Joseph P. Merica, 67, of Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Needmore, PA passed away Sunday, March 2nd, 2014 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Joseph was born in Hagerstown, MD on September 10, 1946, the son of the late Herbert R. and Helen Belle (Miller) Merica. He was an engineer at Lockheed Martin in Baltimore, MD Mr. Merica is survived by Daughters Sarah J. Merica of Philadelphia, PA, Jesse M. (wife of Brock) Harris of Needmore, PA, Katerina E. (wife of Andrew) Weicht of Warfordsburg, PA, Christina D. (wife of James) Standridge of Waynesboro, PA, Son Andrew J. Merica of Needmore, PA, Sisters Phyllis (wife of John) Hansroth of Berkeley Springs, WV, Donna Close of Berkeley Springs, WV, Grandchildren Jack, Bodie and Benjamin Harris, Charles, Isabella and Hayes Weicht and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by sisters Mary Belle Merica, Kay Frances Merica, brothers Herbert Charles Merica and James Edward Merica. A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
