Joseph "Joe" Diiorio

Joseph "Joe" DiIorio, 82, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at his residence.

Joe was born in Abington, PA on October 19, 1936, the son of the late Dorothy Mae (Lake) and John Anthony DiIorio.  He was the husband of Cheryl A. (Tillett) DiIorio whom he married on November 26, 1980.

Mr. DiIorio served in the U.S. Marines as a Pfc in the Korean War and in addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Joseph DiIorio, Jr., Timothy DiIorio, Dale DiIorio, Wayne DiIorio, step-sons Frank Stinson, Vincent Stinson, daughters Crystal O'Malley, Mary Weigle, sisters Babs Stanhope, Joan Valenti, brother Butch DiIorio, twenty-one grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Joe was preceded in death by brother Jack DiIorio and sister Chick Porter.

Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 12th, 2019  with Pastor Ed Roman officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service on Monday.

Interment at Knobsville Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.

Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
