Jordan M. Hess

Jordan M. Hess, 29, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Saturday, May 21st, 2016 in Ocean City, MD. Jordan was born in Hagerstown, MD on July 2, 1986, the son of Jacquelin I.  (Sheeder) and step-father Kenny Brumbaugh of Harrisonville, PA and Michael R. (fiancee of Anna Defibaugh) Hess of McConnellsburg, PA. He graduated from McConnellsburg High School in 2004 and then graduated from St. Francis University in 2008.  Jordan was of the Methodist faith and was a software developer for CSC in Chambersburg, PA.  He was a dedicated weight lifter and went to Alpha Fitness in Chambersburg, PA.  Jordan also enjoyed music and concerts. In additon to his parents, he is survived by brother Nicholas R. Hess of Pittsburgh, PA, step-brother Darick Brumbaugh of Virginia, step-sisters Jamie Miller of Three Springs, PA, Toni Brumbaugh of Chambersburg, PA, maternal grandmother Doris Sheeder of McConnellsburg, PA, maternal grandfather Leroy (husband of Helen) Sheeder of McConnellsburg, PA, step-grandmother Betty Brumbaugh of McConnellsburg, PA.  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Lois Jean and Robert Hess. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 27th, 2016  with Pastor Donald Bard officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 26th, 2016 from 2 to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home. Interment at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McConnellsburg High School Athletic Department in care of Dane Pollock 151 East Cherry St. McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
