John Adam Mcmullen

John Adam McMullen, 44, of Hustontown, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon, February 13, 2024, as the result of an automobile accident.

John was born in McConnellsburg, PA on December 10, 1979, a son of Mabel E. (Kerlin) and Kevin Strait of McConnellsburg, PA.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion of twelve years, Christina M. Nichols and their son Jonah (husband of Grace) Nichols, daughters Elizabeth Nichols, Patience McMullen and Katherine McMullen, brother George (husband of Sherri) McMullen, sisters Sandra Kling, Johanna Snyder and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

John was employed at AutoZone in McConnellsburg, PA.  He was a huge demolition derby fan and would spend most weekends watching them with his family.  John's biggest joy was his children, who he loved very much.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 19th,  with Pastor Dustin Wink officiating.  There will be a visitation held on Monday from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be held immediately after the service at Siloam United Methodist Cemetery in Harrisonville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family of John has requested that donations be made to the Community State Bank, McConnellsburg, PA  for savings accounts that have been setup for his children.
