John A. Cutchall

John Alan Cutchall, 72, of Fort Littleton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Chambersburg, PA. John was born on November 4, 1952, in McConnellsburg, PA. He was the son of the late Melvin and Neva (McQuade) Cutchall. John worked at the IGA and BiLo in McConnellsburg, PA for many years until later transferring to the Saxton Market where he then retired. He was a lifelong member of the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company. He also attended the Calvary Independent Baptist Church in McConnellsburg, PA. In his younger years John coached Pee Wee and Little League Baseball. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He is survived by daughter, Carol (wife of John) Christy, of Greencastle, PA, daughter, Diane Cutchall, of McConnellsburg, PA, daughter, Barb (wife of Chris) Washinger, of Chambersburg, PA, son Daniel (husband of Marcy) Cutchall, of Manning, SC, sister, Judy Aller, of McConnellsburg, PA and brother, James (husband of Becky) Cutchall, of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Samantha (wife of Tyler) Elmes, Bow Ramsey, Dylan Washinger (Fiancé Alyssa), and Skye Rosenberry, as well as two great-grandchildren, Carter and Kinley Elmes. John is also survived by his life long friend, Dawn Kerlin. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Melvin Cutchall Jr. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA with Pastor Tim York officiating. There will be a visitation held prior to the service at the funeral home from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
