John C. "Charlie" Darrell Ii

John C. "Charlie" Darrell II, 27, of McConnellsburg, PA, died Friday, September 21st, 2012 at his residence. Charlie was born in Camp Hill, PA on January 20, 1985, the son of  John Charles Darrell Sr. of York Haven, PA and Mary  Jane (Linaweaver) Black of Manchester, PA.  He was the husband of Mildred W. "Wendy" (Keiser)  Darrell, whom he married on July 14, 2012. Charlie graduated from McConnellsburg High School in 2004.  In his earlier years, he was a member of the Strinestown Volunteer Fire Company as a Junior Member.  After graduation, Charlie worked at the Fulton County Courthouse as a Grounds Keeper before going to JLG, McConnellsburg, to work.  After JLG, he worked at various farms locally. In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Heather Pettit of Millville, NJ, sister Jackie Heck of Lancaster, OH, brother Robert Pyles of TX, brother Michael Pyles of Mechanicsburg, PA, brother Donald Pyles of York, PA, brother Johnnie Rotz of Harrisonville, PA, brother Jeff Rotz of McConnellsburg, PA, brother Dwight Skiles of McConnellsburg, PA, brother Toby Skiles of McConnellsburg, PA, brother Matthew Skiles of McConnellsburg, PA, and brother Jayden Skiles of McConnellsburg, PA.  He is also survived by Dwight and Debbie Skiles of McConnellsburg, who raised Charlie for most of his life. Funeral Service will be held at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 25th,  with Pastor Willam McCommons officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.
