Joan A. Piluk

Joan A. Piluk, 89, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in York, PA.

Joan was born in Needmore, PA on July 10, 1935, a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Waltz) Adelsberger. She was the widow of Frank J. Piluk, who she married in 1965. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Joan was a supervisor at London Fog in Hancock, MD for thirty years. She was an excellent seamstress, who enjoyed sewing for herself, as well as others.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Vikki Tyler, of McConnellsburg, PA. She is also survived by her brother, Ray Adelsberger, of Needmore, PA and a sister Norma Jean (wife of Sonny) Moore, of Harrisonville, PA. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Wilma Smith and Bernice Hann.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 A.M on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, with Pastor Dan Meredith officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Interment will be at Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
