Joan L. Miller

Joan L. Miller, 70, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013 at her residence. Joan was born in Harrisonville, PA on January 14, 1943, the daughter of the late William Burden and Bertha Viola (Mellott) DeShong.  She was the wife of Max W. Miller whom she married on April 6, 1963. She was a member of the Independent Holiness Church, Harrisonville, PA , was a homemaker and loved singing and sending cards. In addition to her husband, she is survived by Son Max W. (husband of Shelly) Miller, Jr. of Harrisonville, PA, Daughters Tammy L. Miller of Harrisonville, PA, Marcy A. Miller of Harrisonville, PA, Sister Ruth Ann Mellott of Harrisonville, PA and four grandchildren.  Preceded in death by daughter Doreen Miller and grandson Tyler DeShong. Religious Service at Independent Holiness Church, 12301 Pleasant Ridge Road, Harrisonville, PA 17228 at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 27th, 2013  with Pastor Toby Mellott officiating. Interment at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA. There will be visitation on Saturday, July 27th, 2013 from 9 to 11 A.M. at the Independent Holiness Church, Harrisonville, PA. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
