Jeffrey A. Mellott

Jeffrey A Mellott, 57, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, August 27th, at his residence.

Jeff was born in McConnellsburg, Pa on April 9, 1966, a son of Beverly Lindell (Hunter) Ramsey, of McConnellsburg and the late Franklin D. "Delmar" Mellott.  He was the husband of Kathy A. "Kate" (Miller) Mellott, who he married on October 5, 1995.

Jeff was a 1984 graduate of McConnellsburg High School.  He was a truck driver for Food Lion for many years before becoming a forklift operator for Herbruck's in Chambersburg, PA.  He attended Rehoboth New Life Church in Needmore, PA, was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing and  smoking meat.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter Katelynn R. (wife of Cameron) Mellott-Steed, of Shippensburg, PA and sister Jackie D. Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA.  He is also survived by his second family; Jim and Faye Butts, Darron and Anita Butts, Keith Butts, Grandma Betty Kuhn, a niece and three nephews.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Marian L. Hunter.

As per Jeff's request, there will be no services.
