Jason S. Barnhart

Jason S. Barnhart, 46, of Hancock, MD, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD.

Jason was born on October 27, 1978, in McConnellsburg, PA. He was the son of the late Robert A. and Barbara J. (Alderton) Barnhart. He was the husband of Amanda K. (Johnson) Barnhart, who he married on November 9, 2019.

Jason was a kind hearted person, who would give the shirt off his back to help others. He was known and loved by many. Jason was a devoted father and husband, who loved to spend time with his family on his days off of work. He gave his all to provide, protect and love his family.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children; Maverick Aaron-Scott Barnhart, Emberlynn Renee Barnhart, Colton Robert Barnhart, Haley Jean Barnhart, brother; Stephen (husband of Mollie) Barnhart, of Warfordsburg, PA, sister; Stephanie Payne, of Hancock, MD, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church, Warfordsburg, PA at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Meredith officiating. There will also be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Tuesday.

Interment will be private at convenience of the family.
