Janet E. Shultz

Janet E. Shultz, 84, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Tuesday, October 31st, 2017 at her residence. Janet was born in Saltillo, PA on September 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Louie (Senft) and Raymond  Thomas.  She was the widow of Dr. James H. Shultz whom she married on November 28, 1952 and he passed away on February 20, 2004. Mrs. Shultz was a member of the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church in McConnellsburg, PA and was a homemaker.  Janet also loved golfing, traveling and spending time with family. She is survived by daughters Eileen S. (wife of Gary K.) Decker, Carol S. (wife of Roger A.) Ritz, Linda S. (wife of Eric G.) Shives all of Harrisonville, PA, grandchildren Julie, Laura, Austin, Alan, Bradley, Nicole, Cody, Emily and twelve great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by three brothers. Visitation will be Friday, November 3rd, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Saturday at the church. Religious Service at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Needmore, PA at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 4th, 2017  with Pastor Robin Baer and Pastor Gail Kitchen officiating. Interment at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery, Needmore, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McConnellsburg Ambulance Association, P.O.
