Janet L. Barnett

Janet L. Barnett, 62, of Hustontown, PA passed away Thursday, January 30th, 2014 at her residence. Janet was born in McConnellsburg, PA on March 18, 1951, the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Ruth Elizabeth (Seville) Truax.  She was the wife of Karl J. Barnett whom she married in July of 1966. Mrs. Barnett was a member of My Father's House Ministries, McConnellsburg, PA, the Rivers Oak Hotline and was a retired manager from the G.C. Murphy store in McConnellsburg, PA. In addition to her husband, she is survived by Daughters Karla Jo (wife of Howard) Mellott of Harrisonville, PA, Amy Sue (wife of Travis) Horton of Harrisonville, PA, Son Gregory A. (fiance Diana R. Thomas) Barnett of Hustontown, PA, Sisters Mildred Gelvin of Ft. Littleton, PA, Alma Hook of Nazareth, PA, Shirley Kohr of Hustontown, PA, Brothers John Truax of McConnellsburg, PA, Richard Truax of Hustontown, PA, Lee Truax of Hustontown, PA, Steve Truax of Hustontown, PA, Gary Truax of Hustontown, PA, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sister Marie Pittman and brother Charles Truax, Jr. Religious Service at My Father's House Ministries, McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 3rd,  2014 with Pastor Bill Chilcote and Pastor Deborah Strait officiating. Interment at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Waterfall, PA. There will be visitation on Sunday, February 2nd, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. at My Father's House Ministries, McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Monday at the church.
