Jamie E. Lowery

Jamie E. Lowery, 65, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Sunday, March 29th, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Health, Harrisburg, PA.

Jamie was born in Huntingdon, PA on August 6, 1954, the daughter of Elizabeth (Verdier) Spriggs, of McConnellsburg, PA and the late James Lowery.

She was a member of the Cito AME in McConnellsburg, PA, the American Legion Post # 561 in McConnellsburg, PA, the VFW Post #655 in McConnellsburg, PA and also was a homemaker.  Jamie enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool.  She also loved her family very much and lived her life to the fullest.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by son Joshua Q. (husband of Tara) Lowery, of McConnellsburg, PA, daughter Antoinette M. Lowery, of McConnellsburg, PA, sister Christine Harris, of McConnellsburg, PA, brothers James Lowery, of York, PA, Timothy Spriggs, of Mt. Union, PA, Jerome Spriggs, of Chambersburg, PA, Stanley Spriggs, of York, PA, grandchildren Hakeem Jefferson, Kinesha Lowery, Essence Robinson, Janiah Lowery and two great grandchildren.  Jamie was preceded in death by sisters Latanya Lowery, Mary Banks and brother Julius Spriggs.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
