James D. Miller

James D. "Big Jim" Miller, 74, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 at his residence. James was born in Hustontown, PA on February 17, 1937, the son of the late George D. and Marie E. (Simcox) Miller. He was a self-employed excavator. Mr. Miller is survived by Sister Barbara R. Ruff of Georgia, Sister Helen L. Mellott of Needmore, PA, Brother Carl R. Miller of Waynesboro, PA, Brother Max W. Miller of Harrisonville, PA, Brother Michael G. Miller of Barnesville, GA, Sister Wanda K. Kauffman of Hustontown, PA, Sister Mary E. Swope of McConnellsburg, PA, Sister Joyce A. Mellott of Harrisonville, PA and Sister Pam J. Saylor of St. Thomas, PA.  Preceded in death by an infant brother and sister Tina Marie Miller Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 10th, 2011  with Pastor Toby Mellott officiating. Interment at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Waterfall, PA. There will be visitation on Monday, May 9th, 2011 from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Howard L.
