James "Jimmy" M. Chesnut

James "Jimmy" M. Chesnut, 66, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at his residence. Jimmy was born in McConnellsburg, PA on January 21, 1958, a son of Jim and Gayle (Helman) Chesnut, of McConnellsburg, PA. He retired from PennDOT in McConnellsburg, PA after many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed being in the outdoors, preferably hunting. He also took pleasure in spending time with his grandson Gannon. Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Niki (wife of Paul) Luksa, of Harrisburg, PA, Hilary (wife of Bobby) Thorsen, of Pryor, Oklahoma, Chelsea Chesnut (companion of Jessie Richards), of Pinehurst, North Carolina, and a son Ben Chesnut, of McConnellsburg, PA. In addition to his children, he is survived by his sister, Michele (wife of Byron) Hann, of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by his grandson, Gannon Luksa. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Julia Chesnut and his maternal grandparents, Norman and Anna Helman. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
