James G. Glunt

James G. Glunt, 78, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away  Monday, April 11th, 2011 at his residence. James was born in Orbisonia, PA on July 31, 1932, the son of the late Harry A., Sr. and Esther (Smith) Glunt.  He was the husband of Karen M. (Buterbaugh) Glunt whom he married on September 15, 1984. Mr. Glunt was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Needmore, PA and retired from Mack Truck in Hagerstown, MD in 1991 In addition to his wife, he is survived by Sons Terry G. Glunt of Hagerstown, MD, Timothy H. (husband of Michelle) Glunt of Hagerstown, MD, Todd A. Glunt of Seattle, WA, Step-daughters Bonnie S. (wife of Scott, Sr.) Hann of Ft. Loudon, PA, Sherry A. (wife of Daniel) Bailey of McConnellsburg, PA, Daughter-in-law Donna K. Glunt of Hagerstown, MD, Sisters Virginia Nauss of Elizabethtown, PA, Shirley Smith of Elizabethtown, PA, Grandson Christopher Glunt, Step-grandchildren Rashaun Hann, Destiny Hann, Scott Hann, Jr., Autumn Bailey, Samuel Bailey, Angela Naugle and two great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by brothers Thomas Edward Glunt, Harry A. Glunt, Jr. and Robert E. Glunt. Religious Service at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Needmore, PA, at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 15th, 2011  with Pastor Denver Plessinger officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Thursday, April 14th, 2011 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Friday at the church.
