Jack H. "Jackie" Morton Ll

Jack  H. "Jackie"  Morton ll, 62, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, passed away Monday, June 12th, on the family farm, in his childhood home, surrounded by his family.

Jackie was born in McConnellsburg, PA on September 27, 1960, a son of the late Mary Jane (Cutchall) and Jack  H. Morton.  He was the husband of Stacy E. (Carbaugh) Morton, whom he married on November 14, 1981.

Jackie worked on the family farm until 2003, before going to work for the Volvo Group in Hagerstown, MD.  He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Big Cove Tannery, PA and the Grease Steam and Rust Association, McConnellsburg, PA.  He enjoyed hunting and being with friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Jamie E. (wife of Dustin) Bivens, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Taylor J.  Morton (companion of Alex Baker), of Marion, PA and sister Carol Morton (wife of Dave) Tebo, of Big Cove Tannery, PA.  He is also survived by three grandchildren; Luke Bivens, Avery Bivens and Wyatt Baker.  He was preceded in death by a sister Kay J. Seville.

There will be a visitation and funeral service held at the Needle in the Haystack, LLC 1424 Cito Rd. Big Cove Tannery, PA, on Thursday, June 15th.  The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  The funeral service will be at 6:00 PM with Jeremy Fletcher officiating.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family.
