Ina M. (Garland) Bard

Ina M. Bard, 91, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Monday, June 4th, 2012 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Ina was born in Warfordsburg, PA on December 29, 1920, the daughter of the late J. Ross and Zillah B. (Mellott) Garland.  She was the widow of Frank E. Bard whom she married on December 31, 1940 and he passed away on June 27, 1995. She was a member of the Jerusalem Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA, was treasurer and member of the Bedford/Fulton County Christian Conference for many years and was a Fuller Brush sales lady for fifty years. Mrs. Bard is survived by Sons Delmas (husband of Shirley) Bard of Warfordsburg, PA, Forrest (husband of Diana) Bard of Westford, MA, Carter (husband of Marie) Bard of Lovettsville, VA, Lauren (husband of Debra) Bard of Warfordsburg, PA, Denvin (husband of Brenda) Bard of Warfordsburg, PA, Lynn (husband of Julia) Bard of Warfordsburg, PA, Daughters Vesta (wife of Ken) Streeb of Eaton, CO, Reba Geist of Warfordsburg, PA, Sister Junia Hann of Warfordsburg, PA, twenty-eight grandchildren, sixty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sisters Eunice Hann and Viola Smith. Religious Service at Jerusalem Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 8th, 2012  with Pastor Delmas Bard and Pastor John Miller officiating. Interment at Jerusalem Christian Church Cemetery, Warfordsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 2 to 8 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Friday at the church.
