Huldah M. (Decker) Bain

Huldah M. Bain, 81, a resident of the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, PA and formerly of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Thursday, May 19th, 2011 at the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, PA. Huldah was born in Saluvia, PA on October 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Herman J. and Ethel (Sipes) Decker.  She was the widow of Carl E. Bain, Sr. whom she married on September 1, 1951 and he passed away on November 19, 2010. Mrs. Bain was a member of the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, served as a member of the Central Fulton School Board for a short time, was a nursing home administrator and RN at the Leader Nursing Home in Chambersburg, PA, served as nursing administrator for a short time at the Fulton County Medical Center Nursing Home and was part owner/administrator at the Decker Nursing Home in McConnellsburg, PA. She is survived by Sons Carl E. Bain, Jr. of Chesterton, IN, William H. Bain of Reston, VA, Daughter Annette L. Williams of Berkley Springs, WV, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Preceded in death by son Gary L. Bain, brother Bruce Decker, sister Esta Myers, one infant sister and two infant grandsons. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 with Pastor John Godissart officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 2 to 8 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
