Hilda L. King

Hilda Leona King lovingly known as Aunt Hoodie, 85, of Waterfall, PA passed away Monday, February 10th, 2014 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Hilda was born in Waterfall, PA on March 22, 1928, the daughter of the late William Earl, Sr. and Zola M. (Barnett) King. She graduated from the Thompson Institute in Harrisburg, PA in 1947, was affiliated with the Mt. Tabor Church of the Nazarene, Waterfall, PA, was a former member of the USO and was a retired professional bookkeeper. Hilda is survived by Sisters Evelyn Lester of McConnellsburg, PA, Mary Sheehan of Enola, PA, Naomi Roberts of Waterfall, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by sister Martha Ulsh and brother William E. King, Jr. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 14th, 2014  with Pastor Dan Porterfield officiating. Interment at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Waterfall, PA. There will be visitation on Friday, February 14th, 2014 from 11 AM to 1 PM. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.
