Hilda M. Daniels

Hilda M. Daniels, 87, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Sunday, August 19th, 2018 at Pinnacle Health Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.

Hilda was born in Pleasant Ridge, PA on February 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Louetta (DeShong) and Oliver  Mellott.  She was the widow of Ira E. Daniels whom she married on July 28, 1948 and he passed away on February 15, 2016.

She was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker.  Hilda enjoyed gardening and raising chihuahua's.

Mrs. Daniels is survived by sons Wayne Daniels, of Warfordsburg, PA, Gary Daniels, of Needmore, PA, daughter Donna Ramsey, of Warfordsburg, PA, sisters Vera Hann, of Harrisonville, PA, Elsie (wife of Allen) Jackson, of Breezewood, PA, brother Paul (husband of Linda) Mellott, of Needmore, PA, five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sister Beulah Mumma, brothers Fred, Harry and Melvin Mellott and one great grandson.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 from 4 to 8 PM   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Friday at the church.

Religious Service at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 24th, 2018  with Pastor William Swope and Pastor Lyle Mellott officiating.

Interment at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
