Herman L. Hill, 92, of Needmore, PA passed onward to his eternal home on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit in McConnellsburg, PA. 

Herman was born on October 30, 1933, in Everett, PA. He was the son of the late Walter J. and Mamie F. (Mellott) Hill of Needmore, PA. 

After many years of dedicated service as both a custodian and a school bus driver, Herman retired from the Southern Fulton School District. He enjoyed life as he rode his Harleys locally and up and down the east coast, attending a multitude of state and national HOG rallies. Some of his other interests and hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and helping out with the Bible Release program. He was a longtime member of the Pleasant Ridge Brethren Church and humbly served as their church treasurer for over 42 years.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Verla J. (Mckee) Hill; and two sons, Curtis L. Hill (husband to Lauren Hill) and Chris Hill (husband to Amy Hill); as well as two granddaughters, Kaylan Zook (wife of Keith Zook) and Kyla Hill. He was preceded in death by his only sibling, the late Carl Hill. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA, with Pastor Brandon Hill, Pastor Doug Poffenberger and Pastor Mac Miller officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be at the Pleasant Ridge Brethren Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
